Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Alisher Navoi
Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Alisher Navoi is unique big theatre in the territory of Central and Southeast Asia. Its achievements are of great property of Uzbek people, pride of the nation.

Theatre Ilkhom
The "Ilkhom" theatre was one of the first professional theatres not depending on any state institutions for cultural affairs in the history of the former USSR. The director Mark Weil, who is still artistic director of the theatre, and the group of Tashkent Theatre Institute graduates, founded it in 1976. From it's beginning the theatre was founded as a jazz structure where the director makes an ensemble consisting of the participants who understand & hear each other.

Russian Drama Theatre
The theatre is created in 1934. Founders of theatre: art director V.A.Chirkin and director M.K.Vulkonsky. A basis of repertoire became the modern play raising the problems of nowadays, putting in consideration social, moral and ethical questions. At various times there were played performances on plays of V.Vishnevski, A.Arbuzov, K.Simonov, V.Rozov, M.Roshchin, I.Dvoretski, A.Salynski, A.Gelman, M.Shatrov, A.Chhaidze and many others.

National Drama Theatre
There are 540 seats in this theatre auditorium. Tickets can be purchased in advance or directly before a beginning of the play. Performances staged in this theatre are in Uzbek.
