Arrival in Tbilisi International airport at 03:30. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Tbilisi



Tbilisi city tour

After breakfast have Tbilisi city tour. We will visit the Old Tbilisi Sulfur Baths, the Metekhi church, which is erected on the cliff, overlooking the Mtkvari River; Afterwards visit the piece bridge and drive by the cable car to the Narikala fortress, established in the fourth century. Walk downtown and discover Shardeni Street with its fashionable cozy cafes and art galleries.

Have a lunch at a restaurant.

Then Visit the national museum and explore the wonderful golden treasure and iconography of Georgia.

Afterwards visit the local family of Mr. Robizon Imerlishvili (ceramicer), where you can see his work and in case of interest take participation yourself in making of different things from ceramic.

Finally, the tour takes you to Rustaveli Avenue, where attractions, such as the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Parliament, Rustaveli Theatre, different art galleries and cafes, will draw your attention and provide a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Ananuri - Kazbegi

After breakfast drive to Mtskheta (UNESCO Heritage), an ancient capital of the Georgian Kingdom. Tour includes following sights:  Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, a life-giving pillar - Cathedral of 11th century - magnificent, both inside and outside, the Cathedral is an important piece of Christian history, as it is a place, where Christ’s robe was buried.

Then continue and visit Ananuri Castle and Jinvali water reservoir of amazing beauty.

Have a lunch in Fasanauri at a local restaurant and then continue to Kazbegi. Check in at the hotel and some time for rest. Dinner and overnight at the hotel Rooms in Kazbegi




After breakfast getting ready for horse riding; you will get horses in the center of Kabzegi and ride together with the instructor to the Gergeti church, located on the 2170 m. from sea level;

An alternative of horse riding will be drive by 4X4 cars to Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m. Weather permitting you may catch a glimpse of one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt Kazbegi (5047m). 

Have a lunch in Kazbegi.

In the afternoon drive to the Dariali Gorge and visit the Gveleti water fall and Dariali monastery complex; We drive back to the town and finally drive to Gudauri.

Kazbegi - Gori - Uplistsikhe - Tbilisi

After breakfast, drive to Gori. The city was founded by one of the greatest kings of Georgia, David the Builder (1089–1125). Visit The Joseph Stalins birth house in Gori.  Afterwards have a lunch at a local restaurant.Then visit Uplistsikhe, "the lord's fortress", which is an ancient rock-hewn town in eastern Georgia. Built on a high rocky left bank of Mtkvari River, it contains various structures dating from the 2nd ML BC to the Late Middle Ages, and is notable for the unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures. Drive back to Tbilisi.

Tbilisi - David Gareji - Telavi

After breakfast drive tothe Kakheti region, famous for wines. First we visit David Gareji (cave city) one of the most important landmarks of Georgia. This site is characterized by a unique combination of historic architecture, prehistoric archaeological sites, rich paleontological fields and important bio-geographical features. The dozens of cave monasteries decorated with unique frescoes are the best examples of harmonious interaction of man-made structures with the dramatic landscape.

Have a lunch at a local restaurant. Then we drive to visit Sighnaghi “city of love”. Excursion in the city, that stands on the ruined fortress (2.5 km length of the walls), with towers and entrances of the XVIII century, which is still preserved. Climbing on any of these towers you can observe stunning beauty of Alazani Valley. Afterwards drive to Telavi. Dinner with wine at a local restaurant.

Telavi - Tsinandali - Ikalto Akademy - Alaverdi

After breakfast visit the Telavi city center.  Afterwards drive to Tsinandali and visit house museum of Prince Aleksandre Chavchavadze, with beautiful garden and wine cellar. Alexander Chavchavadze inherited this village, lying in the Alazany River valley, from his father, Prince Garsevan. He refurbished the estate, constructed a new Italianate palace and built a decorative garden in 1835. It was the place where Chavchavadze frequently entertained foreign guests with music, wit, and – most especially – the fine vintages made at his estate winery (marani). Familiar with European ways, Chavchavadze built Georgia’s oldest and largest winery where he combined European and centuries-long Georgian winemaking traditions. The highly regarded dry white Tsinandali is still produced there.

Then drive to Ikalto Founded in the 5th century it was the region's largest centre of culture and education at that time. Visit the academy there. Afterwards visit the Alaverdi cathedral.

 Finally drive to Tbilisi. Farewell dinner at a traditional Georgian restaurant with folklore program.
